Antique wooden and metal bucket used to draw water from a local well. Every bucket is unique and has been formed for slim pieces of wood, fitted vertically together, and reinforced with metal. The handle is a straight piece of smooth wood. The buckets all have a pointed bottom. The center of gravity in this shape is such that it provides the least effort and easy means to lift it. (and also because water is more easily filled and poured from a bucket in this shape).
