Wooden crane baskets

Elegant wooden baskets with the handle shaped like the head of a crane bird and raised sides resembling simplified wings. This basket makes a unique wooden planter or can be used as a storage basket in the house.
Baskets with crane designs were once used in villages in Southern China as laundry baskets. The neck of the bird would easily rest on a woman’s arm when she carried a load of laundry to the river.
