Large, antique green/turquoise candle holder or oil lamp. In slightly weathered but still very good state. A unique and cozy addition to your interior, especially when used with a tea light or small candle. On the picture, the larger ones on left and back.
This is a traditional Chinese candle stand which can be seen by the small hole on center of the top dish. The traditional candle has a bamboo stick attached to the bottom and the candle would be secured by inserting it into the small hole. Candle holders have been a fixture in China since the Three Kingdoms period (210 AD) while the earliest surviving candles originated in the Qin dynasty (221 – 206 BC), and were made from whale fat.
