1.4M stone lion hitching post with antiquated finish

Hitching post, or Fu dog pole. Classic Chinese lion statue and tall pillar carved in one piece of stone. Every statue is different in height, decoration and lion. Based on Chinese hitching posts: a carved stone post in front of a farmer’s residence to which farm animals such as horses and cows were tied. They appeared in the tenth century and are still popular in Shanxi and Shaanxi provinces. This particular post features an elaborately craved lion on top. Although newly made, they look old because of its antiquated finish.
