Dark blue / indigo textile with white block printed motifs from the Miao Hmong tribe in South West China. All textiles are handmade and slightly different from each other. These pieces of textiles were used as decorative coverings of duvet beds. The repetitive manual stitchings over the surface were made to ensure that the down did not shift too much.
The cover has been detached from the rest of the duvet, so remnents of the stitchings are here and there still visible. But these can easily be removed.
